chrome failed get correct width with fixed-width.css

When i used zen to build my site, some problems let me feel so confused. I failed to get correct width(note: 980px) with fixed-width.css by using chrome but ie、firefox is normal. Here are two pictures about these. Anyone who can help me, thanks a lot :)
