When I configure an email action and include the variables %node_url, the url in the email is completely different? I have a feeling this is a conflict with pathauto, but I can't quite figure it out. It looks like the same thing is happening with my messages as well?

Can anyone confirm this? Is it still relevant with the latest 1.x and 2.x releases, or should this one be closed?

5.x-2.4 will introduce differences between %node_url and %node_alias.
