Hey guys,
I am moving my site from CMS Made Simple to Drupal. I've been playing with Drupal for the past few hours and am a bit overwhelmed. There are so many modules! Can someone please make a few recommendations to me, please? Following are my criteria:
- Need to have an image gallery that will allow me to create folders, etc
- Need to have two pages that are restricted to users unless I promote them to a higher level than registered user. One of them is a contact page for users that has their addresses and whatnot. I don't want anyone to be able to just register and view that page. The second page is a user-restricted officer's page. Same as the contact page. I can just make these pages using HTML and post them but I want to restrict users to those I promote to a level higher than registered user.
If someone could help me, I'd appreciate it. I don't see a dedicated user level module out of the box and am unsure which way would be best to go.
Sincerely,
Colin

and check out the tutorials mentioned. I takes quite a while, but improves
your drupal understanding tremendously.
I do not mean to confuse you.
I drupal you create individual roles instead of pre-fab user levels like in other CMSes.
So just create these roles anccordingly and give them names or numbers.
