Sorry (new to drupal) i was following few other posts, and thought this was all that was required.

Here is more info :

1) The project was done in drupal 7, a custom module was written to handle the business logic specific functionality.

2) framework theme was chosen as the starter theme.

3) We used to drupal for user signup/management and deliver the front end JS.

4) The front end JS application provides real time connection to users looking for information.

Jay, are you using a specific framework on the frontend js? We're looking at using AngularJS or Backbone, so I was just curious.
