Text of "Redirect path on registration" echoed in alert box

In trying to avoid the inaccurately worded core "Reset password" page, I created a new Page and added its URL to the LT "Redirect path on registration" field. On testing I found that text from one of the outgoing emails is duplicated into the alert box at the top of the screen.
