Description
I understand what it's supposed to do, but how do I use it?
Do I just put the html code in the body of node? I tried that, and it didn't do anything.

did you install the htmltidy module and the html corrector module? if so, did you enable them in administer -> input formats -> choice of input format ?
this module creates a book using HTML.
you don't just put just ANY HTML into the any node body, you have to lay it out as the example shows in the readme.txt file and add it to a book body.
If you don't have a specific need for this type of module, it probably shouldn't be deployed.
