It would nice if there was an explanation of the differences between this module and Profile Wizard, and documentation on how to use this module.

I'd like to have that, too. Especially I'd like to know what to do for a multisite-install - do I still have to set the shared tables in the settings.php file? For now I'm getting "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: user_access()"

@germandrupaller -- the Profile Wizard came later, and is considered a better approach (as it says so in this modules' page)
multisite shouldn't make any different -- this generates profiles, not databases.
As for the fatal err -- what steps do you do to cause this?
