If I vote as anonimus and reload page, I see Notice:
Notice: Undefined variable: user_vote in RateWidget->getUserResults() (line 378 of /var/www/webmaster/data/www/MYSITE/sites/all/modules/rate/classes/widget.inc).

To be clear on anonymous voting, you've turned the permission on to allow for anonymous votes? By default, anonymous users should not be allowed to vote.

I can vote as anonymous. But after voting, I try reload (F5) page and see Notice.

and "Reload page" (F5)

I got this issues aswell, it seem a wrong variable name is used.
Provided patch should fix it.
