This is a pretty weird issue, we've had it happen on a couple of different test sites here in our Drupal 7 test environment here at OSU.

The issue occurs when using Drupal 7.19, Pathauto 7.x-1.2, and File Field Paths 7.x-1.0-beta3

When File Field Paths is enabled, the URL Patterns and Bulk Update config panels lose all config fields. Oddly enough, the Settings page remains as it should. After double-checking permissions, dependent modules, etc, I disabled File Field Paths, and my Pathauto config screens returned.

Out of curiosity, I went in and re-enabled File Field Paths, and after the second enabling, my Pathauto config screens worked as they should. Any thoughts?

I setup a fresh install on Drupal 7.19 with Pathauto 7.x-1.2 and File (Field) Paths 7.x-1.0-beta3 and I was unable to reproduce this issue.

Did you have anything else enabled? Did you enable things in a specific order? Are you able to reproduce this issue on a fresh install?

Any information you can provide is helpful.
