I need to place a javascript function in a targeter value. The DART module has a checkbox "Evaluate as javascript" that allows this. The Google Publisher Tags module appears to support this as well.

As I understand it, dfp_format_targeting() will convert quotes and such to their html entities and add quotation marks around the whole thing-- even stuff added with hook_dfp_tag_alter() and hook_dfp_tag_load_alter().

Am I seeing this correctly? Is there a way currently to have targeting values treated as javascript?

Thanks!

You are seeing this correctly ... I don't remember why I decided not to translate the "evaluate as js" option from the DART module. Lemme think a bit to see if I can't remember and to see if there might be a simpler solution.

Has there been an update with this? I'm currently trying to set some targetting but I need to be able to use JS variables.
