Here's my use case:
I have a timeline set up with a view that's displayed in several different contexts.
When a user clicks from an event node page to the timeline view, i want to make sure that the event that was clicked appears in the timeline window.

Is there some way to feed a URL parameter to the timeline to override the configured start window for the timeline?
Or another way to accomplish similar?
