Behavior: When enabling Colorbox Node, Colorbox formatting within nodes/fields is disabled/non-functional. Intended Colorbox behavior then falls back to just loading the image in the window/tab.

Hmm, not sure I understand what you are trying to say? Can you elaborate some more.

Actually, I'm not sure it's a genuine issue. It seems like it must have been a browser issue (Chromium, Linux) because when I restarted the browser, it works fine loading both node images and other nodes in the Colorbox. I'm provisionally setting the issue to postponed, but may re-open later if I can narrow down the cause of the issue. If I cannot duplicate this again within a day or two, I'll go ahead and close it.

(Issue is: when I was trying to set an image field to load in Colorbox via the "Manage Display" dialog in the Content Type, if Colorbox Node was enabled, it would seemingly not work, but would instead just link to the image.)

I have a similar issue. Linux, both Chrome and firefox. Enabling colorbox-node disables colorbox altogether.

Don't see why, I don't change anything. Maybe there is a JS error on a function I call thats legacy?

I use Drupal 7.21, commerce kickstart 1, colorbox 2.3, and colorbox-node 2.6.
