With Internet Explorer, it is impossible to submit an manual order, or to update an existing order. The buttons are inactive apart of the shipping quote.
- IE9
- no javascript errors reported by EI
- no problem with Chrome and Firefox
Is this a known problem, or is this something I shall investigate on my system?

Something for you to investigate, this is not expected behaviour. The first thing I would try is changing your theme and seeing if the same problem occurs.
