I am using a taxonomy-based menu (module: taxonomy_context) for my multilingual site www.esperanto.info and I really hate it when e. g. upon clicking "Basic Information > Reasons to Learn" the user sees only a preview of the "Reasons to Learn" article, which is currently the only one in that category, and the user has to click on "Read more" in order to get to the actual article. Eventually there will be more articles in each category, so that this view is useful, but while there is only one article in a category, I want to display the entire article (not a preview) immediately, without the need to click through again, as a matter of usability.

I will pay $50 of my own money to whoever first programs this feature for categories with only one article (categories with more articles should stay as they are). I don't care if it's realized as an automatic forward to the article page or as a way of having the full article show up on the category page. Only conditions are that it should work with the modules I'm presently using, i. e. pathauto, i18n, taxonomy_context, but I don't think that this little feature would affect them anyway.

If you're interested in taking on this job, please contact me asap at yutian.mei@gmail.com .

I found somebody who quickly implemented a solution, so this offer is closed.

Glad you got it sorted.

For anyone else who stumbles across this one quick solution could be to set the "break tag" to the very end of the "singleton" articles which would put the whole content in the teaser and therefore display it all. Just remove it when there's more than one article in the category and it'll revert to a more normal teaser.

cheers
