I've installed the version from the theme developer's website and the theme works fine. If I install the theme on drupal.org all I get is ERRORS!
I don't think Version 2.0 should be "green" - can it be fixed - I'm a newbie.

You should install Omega theme first, then install this theme because it is a subtheme of Omega
