ChrisValentine commentedI'm getting the same. Once embedded, the embed code appears to point to the JPG poster frame but there's no reference to the movie that it's supposed to play.

mr.marlin commentedMe too. I add the video, and only a preview image of the video displays. No video embeded. and the image doesn't even link to the video.

Media 7.x-2.0-unstable7+38-dev
Media:YouTube 7.x-2.0-rc2

ChrisValentine commentedTry Media: YouTube 7.x-2.x-dev - it appears to solve the issue.
It also solved an update error I had with a another D7 installation.

mrpauldriver commentedI am finding the same problem as those above for inline images although integration with Media Gallery works as it should.

any help?

alexander.sibert commented+1 I tried all. I have current the same issue only with the ckeditor module.
alexander.sibert commentedThe same issue i have the vimeo media plugin.
alexander.sibert commentedI see that the ckeditor 4 remove some css classes or other html tags. If i put in a youtube iframe via manual source code and go back normal view and save, the iframe is away.
segi commentedSame problem with media-youtube rc3. The preview image generates, but the embed video not appears on content view page.
I will test it with an older ckeditor, that it has similar problem with embed videos.
fralunia commentedThe same thing. Shows only an image. Is there any solution?

devin carlson commentedMedia only supports the WYSIWYG module with the CKEditor <= 4.0.3 and TinyMCE <= 3.5.8 libraries.
WYSIWYG support for CKEditor >4.0.3 is being worked on in #1956778: Ckeditor 4.1 ACF and TinyMCE >3.5.8 support is being worked on in #1968318: Support for TinyMCE 4.x. Media integration for the CKEditor module is being worked on in #1504696: Integration with CKEditor module.
For a list of WYSIWYG compatibility, see #2067325: [META] Tracking WYSIWYG compatibility .
