original video remains while new video loads beneath

Hi
Have customised page.tpl.php to contain vimeo videos of my own choosing (also changed color scheme to match client's color requests). When the page loads if I click on any of the video options apart from option 1, video 1 reloads and the selected video loads beneath. This happens on multiple browsers, and continues to happen until the first video option is selected. NOTE that if the first video option is selected before any of the others then there is no issue, but if user selects other options BEFORE the first one, then the issue occurs.
I also notice that this does not happen with the demo site for selecta, so was wondering if the js code being used is different and the switch.js file that comes with the drupal selecta installation may require some tweaking? Not my area of expertise so hope you can sort something here.
