Yea it does look like
Yea it does look like drupal.com's current theme. They are using nice tints I must admit. Greys with light blue. I also like the way they used the menu tabs so its upside down unlike many of the sites that have it like drupal.com
It's nice to see that Drupal
It's nice to see that Drupal is leading the functional design field like that. Remember that imitation is the best kind of flattery, and in open-source where's the harm. Drupal is doing it right, the rest will follow suit.

Version number
Anyone happen to notice the current version is 4.5.2?
Just thought it a bit funny to see the similarities are more than design. :)
There is harm.
Note that unlike open-source code, you can't just share graphical design like that. Besides, Drupal.org's theme (Bluebeach) isn't even open-source. It's protected by normal copyright. There have in fact been several instances of people copying the whole Bluebeach theme, images and CSS. One of the sites that did had questionable content.
A site's unique look may not be copied off the bat or it will lose its brand and familiarity. And it's about more than just a logo or a color: little details like margins, borders, corners, font weights, shadows, etc. They are part of the feel of the design.
If people come to Drupal.org and think "hey, they ripped off mamboserver.com", then that's not good for us. On the other hand, some people did say that Drupal.org's Bluebeach theme looked like Mozilla.org when it was first released. I disagreed.
As a designer, I don't think mamboserver.com looks too much like Drupal.org, but there are definitely resemblances. On the other hand, the underlying code for mamboserver.com is horrible. Javascript for a simple image rollover? Tabled layout? Upside down tabs? Inconsistent looks and unbalanced margins? Not exactly good advertising.
