The drop-menu/buttons to the right, on this page:
/admin/structure/formatters
...is styled with position: absolute; right: 10px; ,
which places it outside the rest of the UI (and in my case behind the right sidebar)

No wonder i couldn't figure out how to use it =)

This makes the module unusable on some themes.

I found this issue: http://drupal.org/node/1469768
...which seems to be about the same thing, and that for some reason is marked as fixed.

This is an issue with CTools, not Custom Formatters (classes coming from CTools).

Styles still appear to be as reported in 7.x-1.7.
