We use civicrm in a separate database. Do you support InoDB? Civicrm requires InoDB

yes, Mysql v5 install on our servers has support for both the Storage Engines: MyISAM and InnoDB

Administer->Blocks->Under Block=Userlogin-Region->choose none->save blocks
