Hi!

How can I set fix height of the slideshow/banner?
I tried to modify the "$slide.height" in jquery.cacle.all.js (in my subtheme). But not worked... :(

via CSS, easy : )
you can add an height: myheightpx !important; to #slideshow in style.css
it work for me
..mind the content, now it could be too big for your new fixed-height
