phpBB2Drupal "You are not ready for the migration yet. Check the settings above." but all settings seem OK

wish it would say *WHY* I am "not ready for the migration yet."
Like *WHICH* of the settings is wrong.

Can anyone advise???

My phpbb database is on a different database from drupal but I've set that in the settings OK and drupal reports it can find the phpbb tables OK. e.g.

* Module forum is enabled. OK!

* Module node is enabled. OK!

* Module comment is enabled. OK!

* Module user is enabled. OK!

* Module profile is enabled. OK!

* Module taxonomy is enabled. OK!

having phpbb and drupal on the same db worked.

however, many of my user's postings appear as written by Anonymous and not the original user as in phpbb. But some others are correct, they do have the correct user.

look i wanna know if you have users before migration on drupal or not.

i advice you to make the migration at the beginning of building the site.
it happened to me once, that the phpbb2drupal didn't work, so i install a new db and new drupal then i install phpbb2drupal, make it as a test.

if it doesn't work and still been a duplicate we will discuss that latter.
