Ref. #1955702: Responsive Dartik?
Not sure if this is relevant for how this theme is built..:
- could this theme open the possibility to merge those projects and provide a CSS variant that could then be customized using the color module, but in such a way that when using a template, all contrasts automatically get sensible "defaults"?

I think can be handled better by using the Dartik theme as mentioned in this issue: #1955702: Responsive Dartik?.
