Man,
you have clearly put a lot of thought into this module, so I hate to ask you to dumb it down, but.... sometimes it's easier [although not as responsible] to have users sign T&C just once (mentioning that it may change without warning or consideration).

Could you please please please please add such an option?

If you just want them to accept a T&C once add the T&C copy to your sign up page, then using Profile module create an 'Accept T&C' checkbox and make it required. If you use NodeProfile it will be very easy to do this.
