Little Tree Apothecary Project

I am starting a site with a large amount of theoretical structure, and I am starting this thread in hopes that I can get a few good ideas on how to implement said structure, through Drupal. I am new to Drupal but not so much to web design. Hear is the site outline.

The site is a members only "Art Guild" that has ranks and privileges for each rank (basic guild structure (yes i love MMOs, especially EVE)) Picture a DeviantART style site with stricter application requirements.

The start page is the public view of the member version of the site. Here one can browse through the Little Tree Salon and view the works of the various Little Tree Apothecary members.

Lastly there will be a Little Tree Bazaar. This is the third version of the site. The eCommerce side.

I would prefer that the versions all tie together seemlessly, and this is the reason I have chosen Drupal.
