Of course you see it on many e-commerce sites...the ability to choose a few (say up to 5) products and compare them in a table...products along the top, key features on the side.
Would this be possible to implement into the ecommerce project?
You'd almost have to set up some sort of 'product group' that all have similar fields to compare - for example computers and then when you create a product, tag it as a 'computer' so you have those specific fields to fill in (or import). And then have another 'product group' for say, monitors, etc.

mdowsett commentedI'm familiar with Views (somewhat) but how can you make the products along the top (column headings) and the fields along the side (row headings)?
brmassa commentedMark,
you should create a new module for this.

brmassa commentedMark,
its not eC related. You can wait when i publish my module or you should contact someone to develop it.

lavinm commentedHi massa,
have u published that module yet?
Is there any other comparison module out?
I also want to implement a multi merchant comparison and coupon/deal site i.e where merchants can sign in and upload their products and or publish deals. Can Ubercart be used for this.
I'd appreciate suggestions to go forth implementing this.
Regards
