Version 2 of JQ Update updates to 1.5.1, but reports as 1.3.2 on the status report and on the project documentation page.

Since 1.5.1 breaks the Panels In Place Editor #1950872: IPE popup fails when using JQuery Update 6.x-2.x this is a fairly major problem.

It would be nice to at least add a note on the project page saying that 6.x-2.x updates to 1.5.1, that it incorrectly reports as 1.3.2 on the status report and that this may breaks some other modules, notably Panels In Place Editor.

Looking around the git repo, I realized that a fix to this was committed to dev and tried it and it works. Dev uses 1.3.2 by default and everything is right with the world.

Keeping this open since it's just a documentation request.
