Following Aegir's instructions, I can delete platforms installed in node/123456/delete, but I cannot delete others with urls such as hosting/c/platform_spark8x10alpha6

I have 2 plaforms and 1 site in this situation. The latter doesn't seem to have a database.

Deleting platform and site nodes will not remove them from the filesystem and/or database. Use the Aegir UI for such operations, as hacking the URL will only lead to further problems.
