When trying to use your awesome module in install profiles, it crashes because _block_rehash() isn't defined.

Devel module used the same call in its install and they've moved it to hook_enable()

Hmmmm... but 5.x-1.2 does not have an .install file anymore?

Feel free to re-open this issue if you still encounter this bug with 5.x-1.2 or later versions of admin_menu.
