Once an invitation has been accepted, "withdraw" does not do anything (which is probably better than giving people the power of life and death over those they have invited).
So it probably should not be there...

smk-ka commentedThat's what the 'withdraw accepted invitations' permission is there for.
By the way, thanks for reminding me to add a small helper module that gives people the power of life and death. Fully optional, of course.

andrabr commentedUh-oh! I might have found a bug in the UI:
under Drupal 5.3 when I withdraw an already accepted invitation (and I have the permission - otherwise I do not get to see such an option), I go through the withdrawal process, but the target user still exists and can log in and everything.
Withdrawing unaccepted invitation works fine.
Withdrawing accepted one produces no result - I just tested again.

andrabr commentednice thought about packaging "life and death".
I bet it would play well with Organic Groups...

smk-ka commentedIt is available in the latest 1.13 release and the new 2.x alpha as a separate module that needs to be enabled first (otherwise that feature would be indeed a bit too much power ;).
