I installed both the shoutcast module and shoutcast server files. I am working on my own server that is running on CentOS Enterprise Linux, Version 4 -- and the module installation and everything went fine. I am using the default settings. I opened up a new shoutcast stream in the create content menu.

In the shoutcast menu the status of my new stream is listed as offline.

I picked out passwords for everything they would let me pick passwords for. All the same.

But I am still not 100% sure where I should be pointing my broadcast. To mydomain.com:8000 ? Or somewhere else?

Are there any other steps i missed?

There's additional documentation at shoutcast.com [1].
The module doesn't change the normal procedure.
Marking as fixed, please reopen if necessary.
