DIsplaying correct number of stars in views

Hi,
My setting in Five Star is to have 10 stars, that works fine. However, when I make a top list there is no option to choose 10 stars, only five stars. I found a patch here on the forum that might work, it here: http://drupal.org/node/167781
But, I don't know where to put this code (where in the file).

I also like to change the raw value output (or percentage output) to a decimal number, like a normal average vote (e.g. 7.5 instead of 75)...
