On gmail, when you try to import contact. after you submit the email & password, you will be logged out from drupal.
On yahoo, when you try to import contact. after you submit the email & password, you will get this message
Yahoo! login information is invalid or your contact list is empty, if you are sure that your contact list is not empty then please try again and make sure that you have typed the correct login information
On lycos, when you try to import contact. after you submit the email & password, you will get this message
Lycos login information is invalid or your contact list is empty, if you are sure that your contact list is not empty then please try again and make sure that you have typed the correct login information.
i believe the server support curl, here is the info from phpinfo
