Ok, just using whizzywig in a pretty simple environment, and handling everything via Firefox2.
When I insert an image, then select the image so that I can hyperlink that image to another website, in some cases the image disappears entirely, and others, the image gets replaced by a hyperlink which has the text was used as the alt= for that image.
if I can provide any more info regarding this issue I'm around,

This bug has been fixed on Drupal 6.x-1.0-ALPHA1.
Please upgrade to Drupal 6 if possible, we're now in Drupal 6 (and Drupal 7 already in code freeze stage!).
We will make Whizzywig become the BEST editor for Drupal and will include File/Image Browser, File Resize, File Delete, Create Folder, support pre-define folder, etc!
