It took me quite a while to figure out that "Related Block" depends on an active "Search Module" and that it needs "Cron" to be run to get related nodes. This is nowhere mentioned nor does it show its dependancy in the modules-section like other modules do if they need a certain module to function.

This is a documentation issue, but should probably also be handled by setting dependencies in the .info file for the module. I'll roll a patch for this shortly.
