After installing the module, in Administer -> Site configuration there's no Special Menu Items. So I can't configure the module, and I can't use nolink on links: when I tried to do that, I had a message saying I have no permission to set that path.

Any suggestion please?

also, it should be <nolink> instead of nolink.

There should also be a help text under the path field that says what values are accepted.

If you aren't seeing that and you aren't seeing the settings page it is likely there was a problem when enabling the module and it isn't actually enabled.

Can you check these things i you are still having this issue?
