Is this module effectively dead?

I'm presuming that this project has collapsed now as there are so many bugs, so it's probably time to look for alternative methods. I'll do some more investigating and post here with any options I find. Nothing seen as yet and I have to stick with Ubercart at this stage so no choice! Anyone else?
