Clicking outside expanded dropdown menus on iPad doesn't collapse them

Well, demo is a bit old now and it doesn't have any sfTouchscreen! but will try the rc1 on an iPad very soon, thanks for letting me now; in the meantime you can try the latest development release (today's), there were some silly bugs, maybe related.

I just downloaded the latest dev and this bug still exists. works great otherwise though, thanks!

I have the same problem but on my pc browser. The expanded submenu stays open. I tried the 7.x-1.9 version but the problem persists.

I downgrade to my previous version 7.x-1.8-dev and all working fine.

Please answer these :)

• Did you both update the Superfish library too?
• What are the themes you're using?
• Are you experiencing this on any theme?

Yes, I've updated the library as well. I'm using a zen sub theme, but this is also true when i switch to bartik. running 1.9 with the current library as of today.

Update: Fixed, added a new feature to the sfTouchscreen, try the latest development release (today's) once updated, with the master branch of the Superfish library, feedback is very welcome.

I know this issue is marked as being closed, but I have having this exact problem. There appears to be no way to collapse a drop down menu on an iPad. I am using the touchscreen plug-in in the latest version of dev with the library update from June. Am I missing something in the configuration? I've tried almost every combination I could see... What do I need to do to make this work short of writing a fade-out jQuery function?

I'm having the same problem. I'm using the pixture reloaded theme. Everything seems fine except when I test the drop down menus on the iPad. Drop down menu does not collapse when I hover out on the iPad. Please help.

Experiencing this as well, with the following setup:

• Superfish 1.9, and trying both the stable and master branches of the library.
• sftouchscreen.js is loaded.
• Tested on a totally clean install with Bartik.
• Tested on iPhone and iPad, both running iOS 7.1.1.1.

Once the Superfish menu is opened on either the iPhone or iPad, there is really no way to close it.

On iOS devices I'm still unable to close the menu by clicking outside of it.

In the sf-touchscreen options, I set the new 'second tap' option to 'Hiding the sub-menu on the second tap.' -- this feature works well.

Right, use the jQuery Update module please, upgrade to 1.9 or 1.10 and let me know! thanks.

Updating jQuery to 1.10 with the latest sf dev releases fixed it for me on iOS -- thank you!!

You're welcome! updated the library just now also, now working with 1.4.4 & 1.5.
