Coupon field will give "Coupon is not valid" error with or without a coupon code applied, rendering the checkout process inoperable.

Just tried and it's working ok for me, did you modify the default rules?

I'd need more info to track this.

I found the cause of the problem. When you enable the "Add Coupon" button in the checkout settings page is when this error occurs. When this is disabled, no error occurs.

Strange. We haven't changed any rules or made any modifications. The issue only cropped up yesterday after updating the module -- which led me to believe that was the cause. I will investigate further and provide some constructive insight, or mark this issue as closed, as it may be another module/code that is causing the problem.

There are minimal changes between beta7 and -dev but I'd suggest you to try the latest dev version also in case the problem is already fixed there...

Was thinking ahead there and went down the same road, with the same issue...

My knee-jerk reaction is there may be something I'm missing, maybe the checkout pages module or something else that is modifying those forms/elements is causing the issue? Unfortunately, I am not an acclimated developer -- more of a designer and site builder -- so I cannot add any constructive insight into what might be causing the problem.
