Unable to integrate and add postal code field (from postal code module) to webforms module

We already have extensive documentation in the webform.api.php file. Between reading the documentation there and the multiple examples that are provided in the base module, you should be able to create a new module. There are also numerous other projects you could reference that add new fields such as https://drupal.org/project/webform_phone.
