HI,
In my scenario i have 4-5 menus each for different section of the site and each section has its own editor(user) setup using workflow. Using this module i was able to see only required menu in the menu page(structure/menu)
(when i didn't gave menus permission for the user) but while creating node there was no option for adding menu setting so i gave the menu permission to user an was able to select menu from Parent item menu setting for only that menu every thing okay till now but when i again went to menu page(structure/menu) as a editor of section A i could see all menus Section A menu Section B menu etc this is where i have problem if its working fine while content edit menu setting this should also work in menu page(structure/menu) don't know what was the problem did i missed some setting or its a bug please help me in this.

Thank you,
Chetan

Could you please list clearly each step to reproduce the bug?

Hi,

Site senario:

I have multiple users in my site for each section,
Section A
Section B
Section C
each having its own editor,reviewer,publisher

So what i want is to segregate each section menu meaning Section A users shoud not be able to see Section B menu or Section C
for this i used module "Menu Admin per Menu"
but what i also wan't us to allow user to add menu link form content add/edit page i.e while creating content or editing from menu setting available (only for there section)
so if i don't priovide the users permission to "Menu->Administer menus and menu items" in people/permissions user are unable to see the Menu setting during content add/edit page i.e while creating content or editing i.e Menu setting are hidden in this situation (if access not provided for Menu->Administer menus and menu items)
but in the same situation (if access not provided for Menu->Administer menus and menu items) when user goes to Structure > Menus there they only view the menu they have been assigned to them from "Menu Admin per Menu"

so two things to point here when permission to "Menu->Administer menus and menu items" is not provided

1. Structure > Menus working as needed
2. menu setting in content add/edit node not working as needed

so what we did to allow users to get access to menu settings in content add/edit
is to give user acces to "Menu->Administer menus and menu items" and after providig the permission the users were able to see menu setting in content add/edit node as expected
but when user went to Structure > Menus they were able to see all menu there which we don't want.

so two things to point here when permission to "Menu->Administer menus and menu items" is provided

1. Structure > Menus not working as needed
2. menu setting in content add/edit node working as needed

we don't know if we are missing any settings or this module has been build to work this way only
Thank you for taking an effort and reading our problem if you could provide any help that will be a great help

Thank you

This is not normal indeed.
Are you using any other module that might conflict? Any menu related module?

I am seeing the same behavior I believe. My role with limited menu permissions can successfully modify menu settings in administration area, but is not able to see menu options on content edit/add pages.

Issue summary: View changes

I had the same issue. The problem was that in some way the "menu" module (Drupal 7) got disabled. As soon as I enabled it, I got the "provide a menu link" option back.
