Backup Migrate not working

Hi,

I created a site using Acquia Dev Desktop and this is everything I have done:

1. updated Drupal
2. updated all modules
3. created a backup using Backup Migrate

Using my hosting provider:

1. created a new Drupal instance (same version)
2. FTP-copied my sites folder (modules, themes, etc)
3. enabled Backup Migrate
4. using Backup Migrate Restored the downloaded zipped db from previous backup

Default Database restored from Upload file dialog appears.
However, when I go back to my site none of the content was copied over. :(

As another test, I created a new site using Acquia Dev Desktop and performed the same steps as previous. This test was successful.

What do I do now?
