When I want to add a new semantic fields (using stable or latest dev version) preset I've got the following error:
Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /panopoly/includes/form.inc on line 1759
It seems to be an incompatibility that the form.inc raises, perhaps that can be affecting other modules, too?

Did you solve this? We are having the same issue (same error, same line number) and I haven't dived in yet to see why.

I tried to replicate this issue today but wasn't able to do it. Hopefully the newer updates fixed this issue, but can you give me steps to replicate.

As of right now what I did included:

1.) made semantic field
2.) applied semantic field to body of panopoly page
3.) added body field to panelizer layout with IPE
