What if i wanted more then one timeline. I would need to create a view for each timeline?

If it was a content type i could create multiple timelines. Unless there is another way to do this? If i create a "Timeline" content type how would i be able to make each node its own timeline?

i got this working as it should!

I have a timeline taxonomy , at first it has no values. I am using hierachical select where you can easily create a term , which a editor then does when ever they want to associate a piece of timeline to content. i then use contextual filters on the taxonomy Id with the path of timelining/% and it is done. All content it grouped by the taxonomy the user selects .
