I have selected "Auto generate the product title", however, if a mistake is made when first creating a new product in the product display and I go back to update the product (i.e. wrong sku) the product title doesnt update. Am I missing something?

BTW, I have tried clearing cache. My quick fix was to turn it off, fix the error and turn it back on, but there are alot of fixes I have to go through and Im hoping I dont have to do this for the entire system.

Same issue here.

I tried a patch ( 28) , that didnt help

I am closing this as a duplicate of #1787838: Support Automatic Entity Label module.
The current autogeneration code has a variety of issues that we'll fix by integrating with auto_entitylabel instead.
