usernode doesnt work with pathauto

Although pathauto shows the admin for settings for usernode - setting this has no effect. It uses default node alias of content/[title] - this in itself is odd however; since it shows that pathauto is actually hooking into saving a usernode - it just doesnt seem to be able to pick up the correct settings for it.

I saw another odd problem with doing a std hook on usernode on last project and that didnt work either - i suspect this stems from a bigger issue that the usernode module does not create its node in the correct fashion - ill set to critical for this reason.
