Mass url module not working for 4.6RC?

Is the mass url module not working for 4.6RC?
I installed the latest version from the cvs, and applied it, but the /user/number urls don't change. (I don't run the blog module.)
A small second question, is there a limit to the amount of path aliases? Would it slow down alot if you have, for example 500 path aliases?
