I run a bi-lingual site with Localization and Multilingual system modules. Users can select either English or Japanese. The appropriate menu and content is displayed. However, I cannot figure out how to automatically provide mini-panel titles in the appropriate language. Is this possible yet? or is it coming with Drupal 6 and it's improved internationalization support?

merlinofchaos commentedThere is not currently a way to do this. I am not sure what the best strategy for implementing localization features of this type is; I need to get some advise from the internationalization community.

cpelham commentedWill you attend the "Multilanguage Drupal: a status report and a discussion" session at DrupalCon Boston? I would really like to as multi-lingual support in our web site is super important, but I also feel I need to attend the site building session scheduled at the same time. Anyway, maybe one of us can get some pointers about how to add multi-lingual support to Panels2... You've already helped me so much. If we meet, I'd definitely like to offer to buy you a beer or lunch or a sword or something.

merlinofchaos commentedI am definitely trying to pay attention to localization, though I've been foolishly hoping localization will mostly just appear as a Thing I can Use that I don't have to Do Much to support. Doesn't seem like it's turning out that way.

esmerel commentedLocalization and translation support is still being worked on for the 3.x line; no features will be added to 2.x
