GHOP #43: Review and correct upgrade documentation for 6.x [#197247]

The upgrade documentation at http://drupal.org/upgrade is the definitive source for additional information on how to upgrade Drupal. Its content has not been given a serious look-over since the end of the 4.7 development cycle.

This task involves creating a Drupal 5.x site and attempting to upgrade it to 6.x using the instructions. Take note of what steps you followed and note places where the documentation was incorrect/confusing. Finally, make recommendations on how to fix said documentation.

You should submit a report with this information as a reply to issue http://drupal.org/node/175479, and the task is complete when it has been reviewed by a member of the documentation team and you have integrated your approved changes.

This task should take 2 days.

We need to keep this issue open though since there are still things to be completed by the community. Moving to CNW so this can stay on the doc team radar.
