I consider removing authcache_block from the upcoming 7.x-2.x release because it essentially duplicates the functionality of Ajax Blocks Module.
The main differences I currently see is: Authcache Block allows to define a minimum cache lifetime. When set, appropriate headers are added to the Ajax HTTP response such that the block gets cached in the users browser.
What do you think? Is the Ajax Blocks module ready to substitute our implementation?
